Elevator inspection & technical assessment in Islamabad & Rawalpindi
Get a clearer picture before approving repairs, changing the maintenance arrangement or planning an upgrade. Discuss an assessment of your existing lift with Subhan Elevator.

Turn a concern into an assessment brief
Tell us what prompted the request: recurring breakdowns, a change in building management, missing service records or a planned modernization. Share the lift details, previous work reports and any visible symptoms. This helps define what needs to be reviewed.
The inspection scope, access requirements and reporting format should be agreed before the visit. A service condition review is not the same as statutory certification, an independent compliance audit or an approval by a regulator. Ask for any required certification separately and verify who is authorised to provide it.
Useful questions for the assessment
- What is the condition of the equipment within the agreed review scope?
- Which findings need immediate attention and which can be planned?
- Do the reported faults suggest a repair, more investigation or an upgrade comparison?
- Which records, equipment information or additional specialist checks are still needed?
- How will findings and recommended next steps be documented?
Prepare the records and access
Bring together the maintenance log, breakdown history, recent quotations and available equipment documents. Arrange access through the authorised building representative. The lift may need to be taken out of service for parts of a technical assessment; confirm the visit arrangements with the team.
Only authorised personnel should access lift machinery, electrical cabinets or the shaft. Customers can share photographs from normal accessible areas and visible user displays without opening equipment.
Use the findings to decide the next step
| Finding or need | Relevant next conversation |
|---|---|
| A current malfunction | Diagnosis and a repair quotation |
| Ongoing care needs | A defined maintenance or AMC scope |
| Ageing equipment or support concerns | Modernization options and retained equipment |
| A new lift requirement | Installation planning and site requirements |
An assessment is most useful when the recommended work, dependencies and limits are clear. Ask which items are confirmed findings and which require further investigation before spending on replacement parts.
Assessment questions
Can the inspection certify every lift as safe?
The agreed service assessment has a defined scope and limits. Do not treat it as a statutory certificate or an unrestricted guarantee. Any formal certification requirement must be discussed and verified separately.
Do I need an assessment before an AMC?
A review of the equipment, existing faults and records helps define a realistic maintenance scope. Ask how pre-existing defects and any initial corrective work will be handled.
